Studio Loft and "Atelier"

This was where the original ruin was but it was completely rebuilt to ensure the same level of sustainability and comfort. The loft apartment consists of a bedroom and bathroom, however there is pre-installation for a kitchenette to make this completely self contained for live in staff or rental purpose. On the lower level this room with exceptionally high ceilings is currently used for a Camper van but would make an exceptional Atelier, gym/studio or games room.


The 11 x 5m salt water pool has solar heating and an electric cover. The pool and jacuzzi are surrounded by ample decking(ceramic) to marvel at the Mediterranean country side and sea views whilst soaking up the Algarve sun. There is a bathroom next to the garage to service the pool guests. Lawns have been planted and the long winding driveway is currently being completed. All water for the house, gardens and pool are from a borehole(water for the house goes through a decalcifying treatment as well as reverse osmosis, whilst water for exterior use goes through the decalc treatment to protect the pool and irrigation pumps, pipes etc)


There is too much to mention on this but foundations, walls and even shutter housing all has been built using materials and technology to reduce cost and maximise comfort, from additional insulations and water proofing, to the turquoise HPL cladding which is not only decorative but highly durable and lowers energy costs due to insulation properties. The property also doesn't require exterior painting due to the stone and the flexible marble epoxy. Almost all the electricity is harnessed by 24 Photo-voltaic solar panels with inverter and batteries and the property has the best energy rating possible A+.
